A press release arrived here at Kik Axe Music™ HQ this evening that actually starts off with ''will.i.am has a busy weekend ahead...'' before ripping into his entire itinerary for the next few days. I'm not entirely convinced that young William is not a robot, but his auto-tuned babble has been bothering me for years. You can find out what Bill.I.Am is doing below, but what I want to know is - what are you doing? What are Taboo and Apl.de.ap doing?
Kind of short notice, but the folks behind BASS GOES BOOM just got in touch with Kik Axe Music™ about a venue change for their event in Los Angeles this weekend. Saturday, November 19, 2011 at El Centro (formerly Burgundy House), 7 artists toplined by New Zealand's TRUTH will be pumping out the dubstep and heavy bass music from 9pm-2am. Full details below.
UK-based songstress LITTLE BOOTS is hitting the road on a DJ Tour (spinning records - dates here) beginning in Paris on the 17th, but she does have some new music herself. Below the break you can check out a spin of the test pressing of her new single Shake. It's different, and personally I'm not digging it - but it could be a grower. We'll see. Additionally, 'Boots is giving away a free mixtape via this link.
Currently #17 on the Billboard Club Play chart with her single Tonight, D'MANTI released a video for the song last week which has been followed by a DAN-O-RAMA video Club Remix. Both clips landed here at Kik Axe Music HQ this evening, and thus both can be viewed below. Tonight is available as a stand-alone single, or as a full remix EP containing a whopping 11 different versions of the track. Check it on on iTunes right now.
Big Machine Records has announced a November 21 release date for the SPEAK NOW WORLD TOUR - LIVE by TAYLOR SWIFT. Set for release as a CD/DVD or CD/Blu-ray combo, the release comes the day before Taylor's U.S. Tour wraps with the second of two sold-out shows at New York's Madison Square Garden. A short announcement video for the release can be seen below, along with all the details on the set.

Back door cracked. This review about to BLOW...
It's not entirely my fault. I, actually, have Hayley Williams (of Paramore), Van's Warped Tour founder Kevin Lyman, Dave Gahan (of Depeche Mode) and Perry Farrell & Dave Navarro (of Jane's Addiction) to blame. But mostly Hayley and her boys. Ok, sort of, but not really...but maybe.
A ton of video has been circulating over the past few days in which TAYLOR SWIFT brought PARAMORE frontwoman HAYLEY WILLIAMS on-stage at a Nashville concert to perform a version of That's What You Get. The main video that's been getting all the play is alright, but we've located some better footage with more crisp video and better audio. Check it out below and ask yourself the following question: Who told Hayley Williams that the fannypack is an acceptable fashion accessory in 2011? Hitting it with a bedazzler does not make it ok.
AVERY released her anti-bullying single Go Screw Yourself back in May, but now she's got an official video to go with the track. We've got the video for you to watch along with a message from Avery about the track and the clip.
You can check 'em out below, right here on Kik Axe Music™.
