Appalachian doom/rock outfit KING GIANT today unveil the first single from their sophomore LP, DISMAL HOLLOW, via a video for the album's opening track Appomattox. Leading horror magazine RUE MORGUE snagged the debut of the video this morning, which can now be viewed below.

Do you remember when William ''The Refrigerator'' Perry from the Chicago Bears became a member of G.I. JOE? I do, and those were some dark times. A football wrapped up in spikes and rigged to a chain like a mace was a bleak reminder of the budget cuts that the Joe's were facing during the Regan Administration. While a lot has transpired over the course of the past quarter-century, the Joe team is still going strong, and occasionally picks up a member from an unlikely source. Hailing from Crystal Lake (Illinois, of course) comes JASON VOORHEES - packed with his signature Machete Weapon! Unfortunately, he's not an action figure - but a rather bad-ass t-shirt from Fright-Rags.

It's officially FRIDAY THE 13th, which means that JASON IS WATCHING - the debut album from FIRST JASON is now available on iTunes (via THC: Music/Rocket Science Ventures). Vocalist ODERUS URUNGUS of the Antarctica-based quintet GWAR has confirmed his starring role as Satan in the new film JESUS, THE TOTAL DOUCHEBAG. The epic tale is being helmed by acclaimed filmmaker BILL ZEBUB, and will be released to home video on February 21, 2012 A.D.

As we teased this past Sunday, Chicago's THE LAST VEGAS have made good on their promise to release their new video for The Other Side. For this clip, Chad Cherry and the TLV boys snagged cult film icon Sybil Danning (GRINDHOUSE's WEREWOLF WOMEN OF THE SS, HOWLING II, AMAZON WOMEN ON THE MOON) for an appearance in their new video The Other Side.
