Get ready to get nasty. 2 LIVE CREW frontman Luther Campbell announced this weekend at the Sundance Film Festival that he's pulling a Blues Brothers and getting the band back together. While promoting a short film called THE LIFE AND TIMES OF FREAKY LUKE, Campbell (who once felt the wrath of STAR WARS overlord George Lucas over the name ''Luke Skyywalker Records'') confirmed that the group was reactivated and that he ''can't wait to just start practicing.''

Technically, this track has been floating around for a couple of months already, but it's just now getting the proper push so we're sharing it with you right now. Below the break you can check out T-Dot, a recent single from CHOCLAIR featuring HUE HEF and DARKO. DJ BLESS aka SUTTER KAIN  handled production on the track for Never So Deep Records. I'm not a big fan of texting, internet/text slang, or emoticons. I am, however, a big fan of RUN-DMC - so seeing their perennial holiday classic Christmas in Hollis get an ''Emoticon Version'' is pretty amusing - even if it's really a viral piece for an event service of some sort. I'm not sure how the ''system'' works in New York, but JA RULE is currently serving a sentence on a gun charge combined with a sentence for tax evasion at Midstate Correctional Facility (a little birdie tells me that he's set for release on 2/21/13). Despite being in the slammer since June, JA RULE has been able to keep touch with fans via Twitter, has been releasing singles and videos - and has locked in plans to release his long-awaited PAIN IS LOVE 2 on January 24, 2012 via Fontana/Universal.
