If Dimebag Darrell Abbott were still alive, would PANTERA have set aside differences and reunited? Is it possible that The Big 4 would actually be THE BIG 5? I say YES. Last night at the Metal Masters Clinic in New York, former PANTERA frontman Phil Anselmo joined SLAYER's Kerry King, MEGADETH's Dave Ellefson, former DREAM THEATER drummer Mike Portnoy, and Scott Ian, Frank Bello & Charlie Benante of ANTHRAX to rip it up on a couple PANTERA classics. SETH PUTNAM, founder of the controversial grindcore band ANAL CUNT has died, the victim of an alleged attack on him by his own heart.

It's a video that's been circulating the web for many years, but after seeing it pop up once more, it was well-worth sharing. Before they were the COWBOYS FROM HELL, PANTERA was a band immersed in the world of 1980's "Glam Metal." The spandex, the hairspray... it was all there. Check out this vintage clip (ripped from glorious VHS) in which the band introduces themselves. PANTERA - COWBOYS FROM HELL 20th Anniversary Deluxe Edition (Review)
We've spoken at such great length over the past few weeks regarding the 20th Anniversary of PANTERA's landmark 1990 album COWBOYS FROM HELL, that you'd think there'd be nothing left to say. Not the case, as we take a look at the 3-Disc Deluxe Edition of the album, in-stores today via Rhino Records.
Comprised of the original album, a live disc, and a full disc's worth of demos, CFH Deluxe is a time capsule in album form, best owned in a physical format as opposed to digital.
