12:15am on Christmas Eve and a press release hits my inbox from the camp of Mr. STEPHEN COLBERT. Indeed, the host of THE COLBERT REPORT on Comedy Central wants to wish all of you a ''Merry Christmas'' by sharing a clip from his 2008 special A VERY COLBERT CHRISTMAS: THE GREATEST GIFT OF ALL. Sure, it seems less like a gift and more like a clever ruse to get some of you to hit iTunes for a fresh download of a three-year-old comedy record, but hey - here's that video anyway! Next Tuesday (December 13th for the date-deficient), comic duo David Josefsberg and Jeff Gurner, better-known as JOBERG & GURNER, will see the re-release of their 2010 album MANHOOD. Picked up by Comedy Central Records for the wide-release, there's a timely new track in the mix, that being Christmas Lovin' Jew.

I believe that Nashville songstress JESSICA FRECH is obsessed with retail. First she did those People of Walmart videos, then tonight I'm watching the news and she pops up doing a similar shtick in a commercial for Hyundai. Actually, I think she might be media-stalking me through this website, YouTube, Facebook, and now my television. Then I check email, and there she is again - this time doing a parody of KATY PERRY's Friday Night, seasonally-themed as Black Friday Night. Check out the video below...

When a press release hit my inbox tonight about singer/songwriter JESSICA FRECH releasing a sequel to her popular People of Walmart video, it reminded me that I haven't been to the site that inspired it in well over a year. If they were baiting me, it worked - until I realized that the real Super Walmart down the road is populated with weirder freaks that I can see in real-life. That said, the video is pretty amusing, so check out People of Walmart Part 2 below - and just in case you're not one of the 1M+ viewers to have caught the first video, I've included that too. Hey! Carlos Mencia is back on Comedy Central and is taking the stage in an all-new one-hour World Premiere Stand-Up Special. Mencia's third one-hour Comedy Central special, New Territory will debut on Sunday, December 4 at 10pm ET/PT. On Tuesday, December 6^th New Territory will be released in the US on DVD and CD by Comedy Central Home Video and Comedy Central Records. The uncensored and extended DVD includes over 30 minutes of material not seen on Comedy Central, including the bonus feature "Carlos Mencia's Guide to Getting Fit."

M is for Mandel! Comedy Central Records releases Mo Mandel's The M Word digital album on Tuesday, November 8^th. This hilarious set from Mo Mandel covers the fear of public speaking, growing up with pot-smoking parents and why his body is not a temple. Recorded at Comedy Works in Denver, Mandel's jokes are personal and universal. You may also recognize him as one of the leads on NBC's Free Agents as well as appearances on ABC's Modern Family.
