Kik Axe Music and Entertainment™ was launched in 2010 as a new voice in the online music community. With interest in music of all genres, Kik Axe Music™ seeks to share music news on a daily basis, along with offering insightful original content including album reviews, artist interviews, special features, and more. Much like the independent record stores of the past, the Kik Axe Music™ staff of writers will be there to dig deeper, to recommend, and to inform readers about artists outside the mainstream radar, offering listeners a chance to broaden their horizons.

Unlike most sites, we'll tell you straight-up that we're not journalists. We're here to inform through opinionated commentary.

In addition to covering recorded audio in all of it's forms, Kik Axe Music™ also covers music gaming, musical instruments and gear, live events, and more.

For 2011, the Kik Axe team has expanded coverage to include all types of media through our Kik Axe Pop Culture™ Blog. There you'll find blurbs about movies, gaming, literature, theatre, and more. There are absolutely no restrictions on what you might find.

We officially flipped the switch to set the site live on Tuesday, January 26, 2010, though we view February 1st as our official launch date.
